Guidelines for your visit
Everyone at Novant Health Flood and Harris OB/GYN looks forward to seeing you in our office. We ask that you take the time to read and review the rules below to ensure your visit goes smoothly:
- You may have one adult with you during your visit. It is a good idea to bring a partner, family member or friend to your appointment to ensure you hear and understand all instructions. Sometimes, there's a lot to listen to and it's helpful to have a second set of ears. However, please understand we cannot allow more than one adult helper in the exam room with you; others will have to remain in the waiting area.
- Prearrange for childcare prior to your visit. Children under age 18 who are not scheduled as a patient that day are not permitted in the practice and cannot be left unattended anywhere in our building. Please plan for childcare during your visit so that we can give you the full attention to your medical care you deserve.
- Food and drink are not permitted in our waiting area or exam rooms. You are welcome to a water fountain if needed, but please plan to finish any other food or beverage before entering our practice.
- Cell phone courtesy: As a courtesy to our patients and staff, we kindly request that you do not use cell phones while in our office.
